The National Center for the Arts has created a resource called Music Alive. This resource contains Indigenous Arts. It was created in collaboration with Sherryl Sewepagaham (Cree-Dene), Nicole Schutz (Métis), Richard and Julie Pellissier-Lush, Olivia Tailfeathers, and Editing by Christie Ulicny. The teacher guide, which was created by Sherryl Sewepegaham, can be found here. The resource goes through the back round and history of First Nations people and includes lesson plans and activities. Metis people are also discussed with the inclusion of Metis music and dance. It also included conversations about Residential schools. There resources are grade specific and include mostly poetry and music. The resource concluded with a section labeled rhythmic fun which included the music alive song, body percussion ostinatos, and improvisations. This resource's is designed for grades 4 - 12.

This resource focuses on re connecting with the earth. It includes pronunciation guides. Students are introduced to different languages through familiar songs such as Old McDonald, Head Shoulders Knees and toes, and One Two Buckle My Shoe. It has activities suited for students from kindergarten to grade 12. Each activity has skills and concepts listed that can be connected to the program of studies.
